Whether it’s due to a major life transition, separation from loved ones, opposition, or rejection, loneliness can be a heavy burden to bear. But there’s hope for all of us.
Make the best of a difficult situation. Resist the temptation to do nothing. Instead, take action. Also, Don’t let bitterness take root. Play down the pain of loneliness and pray it up. Remember even when you feel completely alone, God is with you. Spend time in prayer and Scripture, reminding yourself of God’s constant presence. How can you draw closer to God during this time? Lastly, shift your focus from yourself to others. Find ways to serve and connect with others. Who can you reach out to and support during this season?
